The love you discover is more extraordinary than you ever knew.
So many innocent children are affected by disability and disease. We as adults take it so hard, but these brave little souls have the most positive outlooks ever. And the love they give us is so pure and real, that it heals our broken hearts like nothing else could.
That is Patched Up Heart's pourpose...to celebrate the truly special love a special child an give. To remind you to have hope. And to love your special one for the gift that they are!
Taking this journey with my son Randy (who suffers from autism) has been a wild and great ride. But as my son grows up, I realize that there are so many more challanges facing him in his future. One of the main ones is education. I want to get him into a specialized private school, but as you can imagine (or know first hand) they are very expensive. I have always loved creating unique things that have a message. I want to make items that inspire the same hope and love that these special kids do, and earn the money myself to get Randy the best education I can get him.
